Want to travel back to the 80s without having to give up your iPhone or rush home and crimp your fringe? Then head to Le Gossip at the end of Rue Bonaparte on a Friday night. You’ve never even had a Friday night until you’ve had a Friday night here. Come 10pm people of all sexual orientations are flinging their arms around in a dark disco ball lit room to A-ha, Tears for Fears, Tiffany, Pat Benetar and super famous French 80s anthems you have never ever heard of. By midnight complete strangers are now your best friends, you’re half convinced you can sing and yelling out the words to ‘Come on Eileen’. And by 3am you’re walking home with sweat-drenched hair and a raspy voice like Rod Stewart. It’s the best. And I won’t hear a word against it.
